FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTIONS:
DS200TCQBG2B is an RST Extended Analog I/O Card manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the Mark V Series used in GE Speedtronic Gas Turbine Control Systems. The TCQB multifunction card is located in the R, S, and T cores in location 3. For Simplex applications, only one card is required for the
The TCQB card is used in steam Simplex and certain TMR applications where proximity transducers are required. The card features hardware jumpers that must be correctly positioned for inputs 1, 2, & 3, depending on whether proximity transducers or accelerometers are connected. The Mark V system supports both exciting accelerometer vibration sensors and scaling accelerometer feedback signals. The first three input points for proximity transducers or accelerometers (PRX01, PRX02, PRX03) on the TCQB I/O card can be configured to accept accelerometer inputs by adjusting the I/O configuration constants and setting the jumpers appropriately.

What is the RST Extended Analog I/O Card used for?
The RST Extended Analog I/O Card is used in industrial automation and control systems to interface between analog devices (such as sensors and actuators) and digital control systems like PLCs or DCS. It handles both analog input (e.g., temperature, and pressure) and analog output (e.g., controlling motors, and valves).
How do I install the RST Extended Analog I/O Card?
To install the card, ensure the system is powered off before mounting it in the appropriate slot on your control system. After physically securing the card, wire your analog devices to the input and output terminals according to the specifications. Once the hardware installation is complete, power up the system and configure the card using the software to ensure correct signal mapping and calibration.
What types of signals can the RST Extended Analog I/O Card handle?
The card supports a variety of analog signals, including common types like 0-10V, 4-20mA, and other voltage or current ranges depending on the model. These signals are used for measuring or controlling parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow, and more.
