FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION:

DS200TBQEG1A is an LM6000 RST Analog Termination Board manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the LM6000 Series used in the GE Aeroderivative Turbine Control Systems. The LM6000 Analog Termination Module (TBQE) is located in the core. The TBQE terminal board lands the inputs and outputs used by the TCQE board in the core. The inputs read by the TBQE terminal board include the proximity transducer, vibration, LVDT/R positions, RTD, and pulse rate signals for LP Shaft Shear protection applications. These signals are written to the TCQE board for processing. The 4 -20 mA outputs from the TCQE are written to the TBQE terminal board. These signals are used for more than the LM6000 applications.

TBQE CONNECTOR:

  • JLLR – Writes the LVDT/R position inputs, RTD inputs, and pulse rate inputs to the TCQE board in the core. Reads the milliamp output signals from the TCQE board in the core.
  • JQQR – Writes the proximeter and vibration signals to the TCQE board in the core.
  • BJ1 and BJ2 – Select the maximum current output range for the milliamp outputs, either 20 mA or 200 mA maximum current for the two milliamp output signals.

TERMINAL BOARDS:

  • The TB1 terminal board located in the core lands the incoming 115/230 V ac and 125 V dc power to the Mark V LM controller. The AC signals are hard-wired to the TCPD board in the core and written to the JZ2 and JZ3 connectors for AC to DC conversion.
  • The DC signals, usually from a 125 V dc uninterruptable power source (UPS/battery), are brought in directly to the TB1 terminal board, hard-wired to the TCPD board, and are not converted. The ac power is used for the ignition transformers.
  • The JZ5 connector brings power to the ignition transformers core. The JZ4 connector is used for the same purpose, but with the auxiliary AC signals. This will also connect the 125 V dc from the UPS to the ignition transformers for the black start inverters.
  • The TB2 terminal board connects power to externally mounted resistors. The JZ1 connector on the TCPD board in the core reads and writes the power signals to the TB2 terminal board.
  • TB2 also allows the excitation voltage for contact inputs (DTBA and DTBB terminal boards in the and cores) to be 125 V dc sourced from core or optionally 24 V dc to be used for the excitation voltage.
  • This 24 V dc can either be sourced from the core or an externally isolated 24 V dc supply. The TCEA boards in the core use the 24 V dc signals.
