The IS200TBCIS1C Terminal Board is part of the General Electric Mark VI turbine control system. The Mark VI, like earlier GE Speedtronic systems, had three distinct "voting" control modules and allowed triple modular redundancy control. Using racks of input/output cards in 9 to 21 slot VME racks, Mark VI control systems could be employed in either simplex or TMR mode. To ensure that the control system gives the best turbine performance and that you receive a genuine "system" solution, GE's turbine design engineering and controls engineering work closely together to create hardware and software.

• For small applications and large integrated systems with control spanning from a single module to many distributed modules, Mark VI control systems are available in Simplex and Triple Redundant configurations.
• The name TMR comes from the core architecture, which features three entirely separate and independent Control Modules, power supply, and IONets. The Mark VI control system is the third generation of GE's triple redundant control systems, which were first introduced in 1983.
• Up to nine 21-slot VME racks of I/O cards can be operated in 40 milliseconds, including data voting. Mark VI offers a wide range of cards that are designed to connect directly to specific sensors and actuators.
• In a method known as Software Implemented Fault Tolerance, inputs are voted in software (SIFT). Each Control Module's VCMI card receives inputs via "its own" IONet from the Control Module backplane and other modules.
