FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION:

IS200SRLYH2AAA is a Simplex Relay Output Terminal Board manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the Mark VIe Series used in GE distributed turbine control systems. The Simplex Relay Output (SRLY) terminal board is designed as a simplex S-type board that accommodates either a PDOA or YDOA I/O pack. It features 12 form C relay output circuits distributed across 48 customer terminals. The SRLY maintains the same physical dimensions, terminal placements, and I/O pack mounting configurations as other S-type terminal boards. Its design ensures that no components exceed the height of the attached I/O pack, allowing for double stacking of the terminal boards. Each relay on the SRLY utilizes an isolated contact pair to provide position feedback to the I/O pack. The model comes equipped with pluggable Euro-style box-type terminal blocks and two connectors that can support various option boards.

INSTALLATION:

SRLY and a plastic insulator mounts on a sheet metal carrier and is then mounted to a cabinet by screws. If an option board is used, it plugs into SRLYH2AAA and is held in place by the force of the connectors.

  • NC – normally closed contact of a form C relay
  • COM – a common point of a form C relay contact
  • NO – normally open contact of a form C relay

OPERATION:

There are two different groupings of SRLY. Option board connectors JW1 and JW2 are absent from the SRLYH2AAA and are replaced by fixed box terminals. With connectors JW1 and JW2, the option board connection on the SRLYH2AAA is supported by pluggable type terminals. The SOL terminal connected to each relay has no connection in the absence of an option board. On all customer screw and JW1 circuits, SRLY is intended to support a current rating of 5 A and a voltage clearance greater than required for 250 V ac. The limiting factor for each application is the relay rating.

CONFIGURATION:

The SRLY terminal board doesn't have any jumpers. Six jumpers on option board WROBH1 are used to turn on or off power to a relay. With each of the six jumpers in position, boards are created. When a relay is to be utilized with dry contacts and no power distribution is intended, the jumper is removed from the board. The WROFH1 board is not connected to any jumpers. The terminal point selected as the relay common determines whether a series fuse is included or excluded for each relay. To enable direct use of the fuse voltage sensing circuit as a voltage detector, the WROF fuse connected with each relay may also be eliminated.SWOC has the largest stock of GE Mark VIe Distributed Control System Replacement Parts.
