FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION:

IS200ERGTH1A is an Exciter Regulator Third-party Ground Detector Terminal Board manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the EX2100 Series used in GE Excitation Turbine Control Systems. The Exciter Regulator Third-party Ground Detector Terminal Board (ERGT) is a component of the EX2100 regulator control systems, available in both simple and redundant configurations. Its primary function is to facilitate the connection between the Exciter Regulator Options Card (EROC) and a third-party ground detector. The ERGT achieves this by converting signals from the EROC’s 9-pin connector into terminal screw connections suitable for the third-party ground detector. The EROC can manage a single third-party ground detector through the ERGT, providing up to three outputs:

  • Ground alarm
  • Ground detector malfunction
  • Diode fault monitor

The ERGT has no fuses, test points, LEDs, or adjustable hardware. It interfaces to the EROC through a vertical 9-pin plug connector (J1) and to the third-party ground detector through two four-position terminal strips (TB1 and TB2). When not DIN-rail mounted, mounting hardware through holes E1 – E4 provides chassis ground.
