IC697CGR935-GB is a One Slot Controller Module and is part of the GE Fanuc Series. This allows for fluctuating point computations, which are required for CPU redundancy applications. The controller of the Redundancy System is the controller module. When using the module, there are two control mechanisms to be aware of. Each synchronized PLC uses numerous single bus networks with one redundant controller in the GHS process. Multiple I/O networks are employed with single or double buses in each synchronized PLC when using the GDB procedure. Each control technique is simple to activate and operate.

• The memory board of the Controller module supplies data, and program memory is incorporated into the module. Remote control or the three-position RUN/STOP switch can be used to control the module.

• The LEDs that indicate the CPU's status are located on the front of the module. It is not recommended that the module be installed without first consulting the Programmable Controller Installation and Hot Standby CPU Redundancy Manual.

• One of the module's battery connectors should be linked to the battery. There should be no rack power and the key switch should be set to MEMORY PROTECT OFF. The power is turned on once the module is inserted in slot 1 of rack 0.

• When the module is powered up, the top LED should blink. When the diagnostic is complete, the top left LED remains on, but the second and third LEDs are turned off. Because the key switch is in the off position, the fourth LED, MEMORY PROTECT, is turned off.

• The CPU is now ready for programming. Regardless of where the key is pressed, the CPU can be programmed. The toggle switch can be placed in the appropriate operational mode once the program has been confirmed.
