• Make temporary labels out of masking tape or other materials, and write down the ID of the connector to which the cable is attached.
• Examine the new board to see if it has the same connector IDs as the original. The cables should be connected to the same connectors on the replacement board. Even if the connectors are in various places on the board, it will still function properly.
