• The console has a membrane type sealed keyboard with two software configurable 40-character displays, 32 integral function keys, and a 16-button numeric/function keypad with its own 10-character diagnostic display. To suit any application, all buttons and displays can be optionally customized.
• The keys can be named using familiar process terminology and linked to the display windows to provide the operator with visual feedback. Its multiplexing capability provides unparalleled flexibility.
• Every key and display can be reconfigured dynamically to perform two or more functions. One or more keys can be designated as mode keys, which can then be used to change the function of one or more other keys.
• The Control System Toolbox (toolbox), a Microsoft Windows-based tool used to configure functionality, modules, tasks, and options, is used for console configuration and function assignment.
