FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION:
IC3600STKD1 is a Temperature Control Card manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the Mark II Series used in GE Speedtronic turbine control systems. These modular temperature controller cards are designed for integration into a host mainframe. They include either one or two separate temperature controllers, each capable of driving a thermoelectric cooler. The controllers are equipped with a bi-polar current driver that is compatible with most modules, providing accurate temperature control across a broad temperature spectrum. The temperature controllers utilize thermistor-type temperature sensors exclusively and offer features such as module voltage measurement, the ability to select the thermistor current range, and adjustable control loop gain settings ranging from 1 to 127.
CONNECTIONS:
The rear panel of these controller cards features 15-pin connectors for interfacing with thermoelectric cooler modules and their corresponding thermistors. These connectors include options for current drive and temperature sensors and connections to earth ground (chassis) and the module's analog ground. The pins for the module are electrically isolated from the chassis ground, giving users the flexibility to connect either output terminal to earth ground if desired. The response of Modular Laser Diode Cards to sensing different limits can be managed through the GPIB interface. Users can configure most high-limit responses to either shut off the source or provide a limit warning via the GPIB interface.

What is high-voltage thermocouple protection?
High-voltage thermocouple protection helps prevent damage to thermocouples by incorporating fuses that safeguard against excessive voltage.
How does high current protection work?
High current protection utilizes fuses to interrupt power flow if the current exceeds safe limits, protecting both the device and connected components.
Under what conditions is power disabled to the heater?
Power to the heater is automatically disabled in cases of an open heater, high amperage, triac failure, or when an over-temperature condition is detected.
