Reset Switch

  • Purpose: The Reset switch is used to reset all acknowledged and cleared alarms.
  • Function: After the operator has acknowledged and addressed the alarm conditions, the Reset switch clears these alarms from the system, resetting the alarm indicators.
  • Operation: By pressing the Reset switch, the operator confirms that the alarms have been reviewed and dealt with, ensuring the system can to detect and alert new alarm conditions.
  • Location: Both Alarm switches are conveniently located below the CRT screen, making them easily accessible for the operator.
  • Independence from Communicator: The Alarm group switches continue to function even if the C communicator is not operating. This ensures that the alarm management system remains operational and reliable at all times.
