FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION:

DS3800DCMC1C is an Auxiliary 12 Bit Analog/Digital Converter Card manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the Mark IV Series used in GE Speedtronic turbine control systems. It is made to help communication applications that can directly sample wideband signals up to 7.5GHz. This 12-bit ADC has a wideband buffer on-chip with overload protection and a 6 GSPS ADC input. For generating the ADC sampling clock, the AD9207 ADC offers an optional low-phase noise Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) clock synthesizer. This 12-bit ADC uses between 4 and 5.5W of power to function. Broadband communications systems, phased array radar, electronic warfare, diversity multiband and multimode digital receivers, electronic test and measurement systems

FEATURES:

  • Buffered input at 7.5GHz with a -3dB bandwidth.
  • Performance at fIN 2.6GHz for AC.
  • Numerous ADC clocking choices.
  • Flexible digital capabilities.
  • Digital Down Conversion that is Configurable (DDC).
  • A 192-tap programmable FIR filter.
  • Support for Automatic Gain Control (AGC) with specific AGC support pins.
  • An ADC clock driver that allows for adjustable split ratios.
