All switches in other functional groups, including the Emergency Stop pushbutton, do not require this protective feature.
• When the Execute command is received, the light above the control switch changes from flashing to continuously on if the gas turbine can accept the control input. For example, the gas turbine cannot accept a Crank command if it has detected a fire. Similarly, if the Normal Display shows the message NOT READY TO START, a Start command input is accepted but cannot be acted upon. In such cases, the system displays an alarm message specifying the reason the start permissions are not satisfied.
