Each port is surrounded by sixteen silver contact points, providing stable and reliable connections to surrounding circuit boards. A larger ribbon wiring harness is situated along the opposite edge, facilitating multiple connection options and ensuring robust electrical interfacing with other components.

Alarm Displays

  • The Alarm Display provides a comprehensive overview of all gas turbine system alarm messages, organized in chronological order. This listing includes the date and time each alarm was recorded, with the most recent alarm appearing at the top of the list. Unacknowledged alarms are highlighted by flashing drop numbers, drawing immediate attention to unresolved issues.
  • In the Alarm Display, the Drop column is crucial for identifying the status of each alarm. A 1 in this column indicates that the alarm logic signal is in the Alarm state, while a “0” denotes a Normal state. This helps operators quickly discern which alarms require action.
  • Operators have several functions available for managing alarms and their displays. To access the alarm display mode, the operator presses the Alarm Switch Group. To silence the alarm horn, the Display Keypad is used, providing a way to mute the audible alerts without affecting the alarm's status. Acknowledging an alarm is done by pressing the Alarm Ack switch, which changes the flashing alarm light to a steady on, indicating that the alarm has been noted. To reset alarms, the Reset Alarm switch is pressed, which clears acknowledged and resolved alarms from the display, streamlining the list.
  • For specific alarm management, operators can lock out an alarm using the Alarm Lockout function, which holds the alarm in its current position on the display. This prevents it from being overwritten by new alarms, ensuring that it remains visible for ongoing attention. Conversely, unlocking an alarm using the Alarm Unlock function allows it to be repositioned or replaced, as needed.
  • These functions are designed to give operators precise control over alarm management, ensuring that critical alerts are promptly addressed and that the gas turbine system remains operational and safe.
