FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION:

531X111PSHAWG3 is a Motor Field Control and Power Supply Board manufactured and designed by General Electric as part of the 531X Series used in Drive Control Systems. This board functions as a motor field control board and power supply. Installing the card provides the power sources required for the proper operation of the host drive. This card, which was developed as a G3 board version, has MOVs for the AC line that are not placed on the board. Rather than being installed on the board, the MOVs are mounted externally.

FEATURES:

• Three power supplies are provided by the board. Users can choose between 5 VDC, 15 VDC, and 24 VDC for the required voltage.

• The card also includes an inbuilt pulse transformer that supplies power to the motor field circuitry of the installed drive.

• A number of extra functions are also available on the board. The card has three relay points onboard.

• The user can utilize these relays to control system functions on the board. Three potentiometers and five jumpers are also included on the card.

• The potentiometers are used to regulate the current and circuit feedback, while the jumpers are used to calibrate the current and feedback signals.
