  • These configurations allow for flexible and efficient installation, whether in control rooms, machinery rooms, or in external environments.
  • Rack Design and Slot Configuration:
    • Power Supplies: Slots reserved for two power supply modules (ensuring reliable and redundant power to the system).
    • TDI (Transducer Interface) Module: Located in the left-most position, dedicated exclusively to this module.
    • Monitoring and Support Modules: The remaining 14 slots can accommodate various modules including monitors, displays, relay modules, Keyphasor modules (used for rotational position sensing), and communication gateway modules.
    • The system is modular, with all components plugged into the rack’s backplane. This modularity allows for flexibility in configuration, ensuring that the system can be tailored to meet the specific needs of the installation.
  • Mini Rack
    • Mini Rack Width: 12 inches instead of the standard 19 inches, allowing for more compact installations.
    • Monitor Slots: 7 available slots for monitoring modules (compared to the 14 in the standard rack).
    • Module Placement: The left-most slots are reserved for the Power Supply and TDI Module.
    • The mini rack is designed for installations where space is limited but the monitoring capabilities of the 3500 Series are still required. It can be mounted in a panel cutout or, using an optional adapter plate, on 19” EIA mounting rails. Bulkhead mounting is not available for the mini rack.
